Bulk Actions

EU Customs Requirements

• European Union (EU) will introduce new customs requirements for low-value B2C imports effective November 1, 2026.  See New European Union Customs Requirements for more details. (October 2026)

Happy Returns

• Added a new configuration available for Happy Returns integration customers who wish to generate blind returns into RyderShip. (September 2026)
  What this means: 
  If the original order doesn't exist in RyderShip and this configuration is enabled, it will generate the return in RyderShip without an associated number. This allows our warehouse staff to scan and process the return without opening an unexpected delivery workflow.

Location Roles

• Added a customer-level setting that prevents Backstock locations from automatically converting to Pickable locations when they become the sole inventory location for an item. This gives customers greater control over inventory location behavior during sellout scenarios. See Location Roles for more details. (September 2026)

Password Reset

• Updated how we handle session cookies when users reset their RyderShip passwords in this next release. When users reset their RyderShip passwords, RyderShip automatically invalidates all active user sessions across all browsers, tabs, and devices. (September 2026)

Reference Fields & Shipping Labels

• Added the ability for our label buy process to pass up to 5 reference field values, depending on the carrier’s label requirements.  See References Fields on Shipping Labels for more details. (September 2026)

RyderShip Data

• Removed the attributes for two tables that are no longer used:  account_transaction_items and account_transactions  See RyderShip Data for details. (September 2026)

Scancodes

• Added additional changes to scancodes in RyderShip to further streamline our operations. An item’s scancodes now are deleted when the associated item is archived or deleted. See Scancode Update - Sept 2026 for more details. (September 2026)

Templates

• Added some safeguards to our Templates in RyderShip to ensure that your templates are always available to print.  If a custom font or image takes longer than 5 seconds to load, RyderShip now uses a standard font and prints without the image, so your template is always generated on time and your orders keep moving. (September 2026)
