This article contains descriptions for the various Notifications available in the Whiplash Application.

Notifications are listed in the order they appear in app. 

Order

Notification

Description 

Shipped Sent when any order is Shipped
Delivered Sent when any order is Delivered
Attention Sent when an order gets Cancelled but has no items associated with it
Empty Cancelled Sent when an empty order is received by Whiplash and is subsequently canceled
Unmatched Ship Country Sent when we are unable to match a destination country for an order
Unmatched Ship Method Sent when a ship method specified for an order cannot be matched
Non Merchandise Cancelled An order containing only packaging items was received by Whiplash and subsequently canceled
Non Merchandise Paused An order containing only packaging items was received by Whiplash and subsequently paused
Warehouse Fallback Sent when the designated warehouse for an order is out of stock but another warehouse can be used
Created Sent when an order is created
Status Changed Sent when the status of an order changes.
Insufficient Inventory Sent when an order is paused due to insufficient inventory
Return Undeliverable Sent when an order is returning to Whiplash because it was undeliverable
Batched An order has been added to a batch
Unbatched An order has been removed from a batch
Requires Label An order that requires a label has been packed
Packed Sent when an order moves into "Packed" status
Wholesale Packed Sent when a wholesale order moves into "Packed" status
Retail Packed Sent when a retail order moves into "Packed" status
Dropship Packed Sent when a dropship order moves into "Packed" status
Retail Order Status Changed Sent when the status of a retail order changes
Wholesale Order Status Changed Sent when the status of a wholesale order changes
Dropship Order Status Changed Sent when the status of a dropship order changes
Paused Sent when an order moves into "Paused" status
Cancelled Sent when an order moves into "Cancelled" status
Ready For Pick Up Sent when a Pick Up order is ready to be picked up
Picked Up Sent when a Pick Up order has been picked up
Fallback Paused Sent when an order does not qualify for the chosen Shipping Method and the order's fallback action is set to Pause via a rule
Fallback Cheapest All possible options were tried and we eventually landed on cheapest, which is the lowest level of fallback
Shipped Package Details Sent once a package has shipped. Includes details of all package(s) on the order such as tracking, package count, and shipping method

 

Item

Notification

Description 

Inventory Changed Sent when the inventory for an item has changed
Created Sent when an item has been created
Low Inventory Sent when the inventory for items have fallen below the specified low inventory threshold
Out of Stock Sent when an item's inventory has fallen below one
Shopify Barcode Update Rejected Sent when an attempt to sync the barcode field from Shopify has failed
Inventory Received Sent when inventory for an item has been received
Inventory Adjusted Sent when an item's quantity has been adjusted (incremented or decremented) at a given location

 

Ship Notice

Notification

Description 

Created Sent when a Ship Notice is created
Status Changed Sent when the status of Ship Notice changes
Incomplete Sent when a Ship Notice is received but the inventory hasn't given a location
Unexpected Sent when inventory is sent to the facility and there is not a Ship Notice in place to receive the items

 

Customer Return

Notification

Description 

Created Sent when a return is created
Deleted Sent when a return is deleted
Status Changed Sent when the status of a return is changed
Completed Sent when a return is marked as completed
Unexpected  Sent when Whiplash receives a return without an RMA


Customer

Notification

Description 

Card Declined Sent when we have trouble billing the credit card on file

 

Invoice

Notification

Description 

Created Sent when there is a new invoice ready for your account

 

Shipnoticeitem

Notification

Description 

Quantity Received Sent during shipnotice receiving when an item gets received and allocated to a shelf location in the warehouse. It includes information about the shipnotice itself, whether the items are good or damaged, as well as where exactly the received quantity has been allocated in the warehouse.
