User Ecosystem

Whiplash App access always requires a login. No guests or end consumers have access to anything Whiplash. Each User has a Role, as defined below:

Customers

Associated with at least one Customer Account. They can view and manage Orders and Inventory. Most Whiplash users are Customers.

Staff

Associated with one Warehouse. They ship orders, commit location audits, and receive inventory.

Managers

Associated with one Warehouse. They have Staff permissions, but can also manage Staff Users, create Batches, and assign location audits.

Partners

Associated with either Customer Accounts, Warehouses, or both. Can manage preferences and features for multiple properties under their umbrella.

Admins

Whiplash core employees and representatives. They can see and do everything.
