When are Short Form Order Lists used?

Short answer: when skipping the Packing Slip.

For traditional paper picking, we print Packing Slips during batching. We use a barcode on the Packing Slip to start packing an Order.

If the Rule Action (or Bulk Action) for "Skip Packingslip Print" is used on an Order, we will print a Short Form Order List (SFOL) during Batching instead.

If both SFOL and Packing Slips are needed, both will print.

Short form Order Lists combine the scan codes that would be on packing slips into a sheet to scan at the pack station:
