There are a few ways to edit inventory properties.
Item Details
If you just need to change one or two items at once, search for the item by SKU or ID (Inventory menu), open the item to view its Item Details pages. and edit the field directly from Item Details. Many of the properties are under the Item Details tab page. See Item Details for more information.
For example:
- I need to set this new box item to be Packaging. See the Item Details tab > Shipping Details section.
- I need to update the Country of Origin for an Item since it has recently changed. See the Item Details tab > Additional Details section.
Bulk Update from Item Search
If you're changing a field to the same value for a large number of Items, the quickest way is often to make a search, then select the option you need from Bulk Update.
For example:
- I need to set all SKUs starting with "LP" to Media Mail = TRUE.
- I need to set all the SKUs in this comma-separated list to hazmat = ORMD.
Upload an Update CSV
Updates one field at once. This is most common upon initial signup or when you need to update several fields for a large group of SKUs that are very different from one another.
For example:
- I need to update the tariff codes for all of my Items at once.
- 100 of my SKUs are Media Mail, 1000 of them are Hazmat, and there are 12 countries of origin between them.
- I need to update all my product images.
